Al Riyad Group Company is hiring a Senior Logistics Officer for their Operations department in Baghdad, requiring a bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of experience in logistics and international import operations.
- Managing and tracking international shipments to Iraq through sea, air, land, and multimodal transportation
- Handling Iraqi customs procedures and ASYCUDA, including customs clearance and following shipments through to final release
- Dealing and coordinating with international suppliers, shipping companies, freight forwarders, shipping lines, customs brokers, and local transport providers
- Handling import and shipping documentation including Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, Bills of Lading, Air Waybills, Certificates of Origin, customs, and banking documents
- Coordinating with Procurement and Finance Departments regarding Purchase Orders, shipping terms, Incoterms, supplier documentation, and payment-related requirements
- Independently monitoring shipments from supplier readiness, booking, and shipment through arrival, customs clearance, and final delivery
- Maintaining accurate shipment records and reports
